The Court is pleased to welcome its newest law clerk.

The Supreme Court of Fantasy Judgment is pleased to announce that it has admitted its newest law clerk – Mathew Silverman.

As a fantasy sports aficionado, Mathew Silverman has been participating in fantasy football and fantasy baseball leagues for over 15 years.  He has won multiple championships in both sports with countless other finals and league payouts.  Additionally, he has been a commissioner of leagues in both sports and has experience dealing with team owners rule breaking, colluding, and abandoning teams.  As an owner Mr. Silverman is an expert trade negotiator who knows what it takes to make top tier trades.

Professionally, Mr. Silverman is a software developer turned attorney.  His primary focus in his legal career has been intellectual property, including patent prosecution and advisory memorandum.  While in Law School, Mr. Silverman was an active member of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society that enabled him to meet with lead counsel, general managers, and players for multiple sports teams on various occasions.
Mr. Silverman is available to be reached via email at or on Twitter at @MathewSilverman.
Mathew’s first article is a de facto primer for people who may be new to playing fantasy football.  It will be broken up into two parts with Part 1 posted on Saturday, July 27, 2013.  We take for granted that most people who seek out information or converse with others in the fantasy sports universe are seasoned veterans.  However, there are plenty of people out there of all ages who are just joining the madness of fantasy football.  Mathew will help lay out what to expect and everything you need to know to get started.
